Features

The first royal palace built during the Joseon Dynasty, with 500 years of history.
The largest of the five grand palaces in Seoul.
See Geunjeongjeon, where the king conducted major affairs, and Gyeonghoeru, a banquet hall on a pond.
Nearby are the National Palace Museum of Korea and the National Folk Museum of Korea.
Free admission for visitors wearing hanbok.
Special 'Starlight Night Tours' are sometimes held.
