• It is a wide plaza in front of Gwanghwamun, the main gate of Gyeongbokgung Palace (557m long, 34m wide).

• Restoration work was carried out to recreate the street in front of Gwanghwamun.

• There are statues of King Sejong the Great and Admiral Yi Sun-sin.

• Below the statues, there is the 'Story of Sejong' exhibition hall.

• The 'Sejong-daero Pedestrian Forest Path' (a pedestrian-friendly street from Sejong-daero intersection to Seoul Station) is well-maintained.
